Only purchase these CALS (Client Access Licenses) if you are needing to meet your initial order of 5 licenses. Otherwise, they will not have any specific value to you unless you actually need Microsoft Exchange CALS for your organization. These are the least expensive licenses in the Microsoft Charity Open License program.
NOTES TO KNOW BEFORE ORDERING THESE LICENSES:
This is NOT a site license.
One license of each type used is required for each workstation/computer.
It is not a license that is assigned to an individual person or workstation, but you must purchase one license per workstation it is used on.
* If you have not ordered through this Microsoft Charity Open License program before, you must order a minimum of 5 licenses to get into the program. Once you have ordered your initial 5 licenses, from that point for two years, you can order individual license all you need. If at any time you order 5 licenses or more on any one order, your two years starts over allowing you to purchase individual licenses within two years. You can mix and match the licenses to order your initial 5 licenses.
Licenses must be used by the qualifying non-profit organization who purchases these licenses and can not be used for personal or educational use.
